ICompete is a community program serving the north-east neighborhoods of Palatine, IL. in the areas of academics, arts and athletics. Composed of paid staff, volunteers and community partners, ICompete seeks to bring quality programs to underserved families in our area. Through partnerships, ICompete is able access different facilities and venues to bring programs such as dancing, after school homework clubs, cultural arts an more to children and their families who otherwise would not experience these activities. ICompete also gives Palatine High School students an opportunity to mentor children in the 1st through 8th grades and become involved in thier community.

The mission of ICompete is to introduce underserved youth and their families to athletics, arts, and academics by breaking down the barriers of access to better prepare for life experiences. The goal is to stimulate interest, provide academic support, and increase opportunities to participate in organized sports, clubs, or community programs.

The programs offered at ICompete sites are made possible through strong community partners who are vested in bringing quality programs in athletics, arts and academics.
